Assistance to the refugees of Eidomeni

Network of Social Solidarity & Assistance and the feeding group for the homeless and needy Annapurna Team carry out their first joint humanitarian mission to the refugees in Eidomeni, Kilkis. On Saturday, April 9, 2016, they will sell more than 4,000 items, food and necessities, including canned food, milk, cakes and personal hygiene items.

 

Network of Social Solidarity & Assistance is a non-profit civil society company, which was established by the business associations of the Association of Industries of Northern Greece (SVBE), Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), Chamber of Crafts of Thessaloniki (Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce), Association of Exporters of Northern Greece (SEVE) and Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce (ESTH), to mobilize the business community towards social responsibility actions, with substantial content and center to help our fellow human beings and especially children. Achieving the goal is achieved by offering support to individuals, groups, charities and organizations, assistance in material goods and/or services.

 

The mission of Network is to connect the institutions that offer social work, especially to children and young people, with the business community.

 

The Annapurna Team is a Social Cooperative Enterprise that operates to feed the homeless and the needy in the center of Thessaloniki. The activity of the group more specifically includes the collection of food and raw materials for cooking, the preparation and packaging of meals and finally the distribution of the above to our homeless and needy fellow human beings, in the center of Thessaloniki, every Sunday night. The Annapurna Team has now added to the scope of its activities the sending of humanitarian aid to the refugees in the area of ​​Eidomeni Kilkis.
