A few words about the author and the editor
Dimitrios Lakasas was born on April 14, 1973 in Kolindros, Pieria. He is the CEO of Olympia Electronics A.E. In 2017 he was named “Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year” in the EY – ERNST & YOUNG competition. He has participated in international conferences and publications in the financial and business press. He holds a degree in Economics and Marketing from City College – the University Of Sheffield and a postgraduate degree (MBA) in Business Administration from the University of Sheffield. In parallel with his business activity, he has served:
- President of the Exporters Association of Northern Greece (SEVE), 2010 to 2014
- President of the Alexandria Innovation Zone (AZK), 2013 to 2015
- Member of the General Council of BSE, 2004 to 2019
- Board Member of the Association of Industries of Northern Greece (SVE), 1999 to 2014
- Founder of the Think Tank SEVE think tank
- Member of the Research Ethics and Conduct Committee of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (EIDE AUTh)
Dimitris Goulias was born in August 1989 in Larissa and grew up in Volos. Since 2017 he has been working as a Financial Analyst at the Exporters Association of Northern Greece (SEVE) and is the Head of the Institute of Export Research and Studies (IEES) of SEVE. He has a degree in Economics (BSc) from the University of Thessaly and a master’s degree in International Business (Master in International Business) from the University of Macedonia.
