Network Award for “Heroes of COVID-19”
Honorary award for Network and the President Mr. Nicolao Penzo at the event “The Heroes of COVID-19” for their valuable contribution to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
The President received his award from Mr. Giannis Karantalis – President & CEO of IEK DELTA 360, also an official sponsor of Network.
In a moving event in which the “present” ministers, MPs, and agents of Thessaloniki were present, the people who contributed the most to win the battle with the coronavirus were honored.
A different but moving event was organized on Thursday, September 10, 2020, by the journalistic group “Macedonia”, the newspapers “Macedonia of Sunday” and “The” and the news site makthes.gr to honor the real Heroes, the people who They stood by all of us and helped us all emerge victorious from the first phase of the battle with the coronavirus.
The award ceremony for the “Heroes of COVID-19” in Northern Greece took place at the premises of TIF – HELEXPO in the presence of government ministers, city MPs, and actors who fight for Thessaloniki from their base.
The event awarded people who contributed with heroism and self-sacrifice in the daily care for the protection and safety of human life, but also companies that showed unprecedented social awareness and supported the work of the state for the benefit of society as a whole.
Medical and nursing staff, first-line employees of the political leadership, local government, teachers, parents, but also companies whose actions have turned them into heroes and are an example to be imitated by society as a whole.
The event was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior of Macedonia Thrace, the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Region of Thessaloniki and the TIF – Helexpo.
