Reconstruction of Damboudi House by ZANAE SA through Network of Social Solidarity & Assistance
Network honors the 149 undefeated souls who were lost by the Nazi forces on September 2, 1944, in Chortiatis, Thessaloniki. In collaboration with its member – the company ZANAE SA – proceeded with the reconstruction of the Damboudi House where the ossuary of many of our people who gave their lives for the homeland is located.
The reconstructed monument was visited on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, by the President of Network Mr. Nikolaos Pentzos, the Mayor of the Municipality of Pylaia – Chortiatis Mr. Ignatios Kaitezidis, and the CEO of ZANAE SA. Mr. Telemachos Pentzos.
A sanctuary that faced several problems due to the passage of time and in which reconstruction works of the roof and the roof were carried out, installation of thermal and sound insulation material, repair of the entrance door, and the painting of the whole monument.
A monument that gives a different image that befits the sacrifice of our hero-martyrs and that the whole world must visit.
