ΤΑΡ donation to the Fire Service within Kavala Port
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP AG), in collaboration with the “Network for Social Solidarity”, has concluded the donation and installation of a new heating/colling system at the facilities of the Fire Service, located within the Port of Kavala.
The initiative is part of the extensive Social and Environmental Investments programme that TAP implements across the northern Greek areas traversed by the pipeline.
It is also yet another initiative in support of the Greek Health, Emergency and Rescue Services, as health and safety are core priorities for TAP, as well as its contractors and partners. In addition, we are well aware of the fact that suitable and modern equipment is key in ensuring the safety of both rescue workers and the people they’re called upon to assist.
Hence, TAP and NSS, as proud supporters of Greek Emergency and Rescue Services, stand by the men and women of the Hellenic Fire Service and the significant work they undertake.
According to the CEO of the Kavala Port Authority, Ms Anna Thysiadou, the response to their request for support has rendered the Fire Service facilities within the Port “fully operational and ready to serve our needs.”
