The signing of a Cooperation Agreement between Network and the Regional Development Plan of Central Macedonia

Cooperation Agreement between the Regional Union of Municipalities of Central Macedonia and the “Network of Social Solidarity & Assistance”.

 

The social embrace and solidarity of the Local Government towards the new generation of our place is growing, with the Cooperation Pact signed today in Panorama by the Regional Union of Municipalities of Central Macedonia and Network.

 

The purpose of the agreement is to create a framework of cooperation between the two sides, to strengthen and support the initiatives of groups, individuals, and charities, which operate within the 38 municipalities of the Regional Union of Municipalities of Central Macedonia and offer social work to children and young people who need it.

 

The cooperation agreement was signed at the town hall of Pylaia-Chortiatis by the president of the Regional Union of Municipalities of Central Macedonia Mr. Ignatios Kaitezidis on behalf of PED KM and the president of Network Mr. Nikolaos Pentzos.

 

“We are launching an important social solidarity initiative to support the new generation of our country. We all must start together – the business community and Local Government. During all these difficult years, the municipalities were always close to our fellow human beings who needed it. We will continue on this path in the future, with sensitivity for our young children “, noted the president of the Regional Union of Municipalities of Central Macedonia and mayor of Pylaia-Chortiatis, who warmly thanked Mr. Pentzo for the initiative and cooperation.

 

For his part, Mr. Pentzos stated that “This connection – through Network – of the Local Government and the state with the business world is very important in the context of Corporate Social Responsibility, Responsibility and Sustainable Development. We are sure that through this cooperation, all together, we will offer a lot to the Society and the Environment throughout Central Macedonia.”
