Professor Lambis Petridis is the Chair of Prosthodontics at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London.
He qualified from the Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He continued his postgraduate studies at Tufts University, Boston, U.S.A. where he completed an Advanced Education Programme in Prosthodontics and additionally acquired his Master of Science degree. He completed his postgraduate studies with a PhD degree from Aristotle University. Professor Petridis served as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor in Prosthodontics at the Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He moved to London in 2012 and served as an Associate Professor in the Prosthodontic Unit at UCL Eastman Dental Institute until 2019 when he became Chair. In 2018 he became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in recognition of his teaching methods and processes.
Professor Petridis is currently a registered member of multiple international associations, a distinguished researcher, and an esteemed guest speaker in international conferences and universities.
Alongside his academic career, Professor Petridis is also an Honorary Consultant at the UCLH Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospital, and for more than 25 years he practices privately all aspects of dentistry with an emphasis on Restorative, Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry. Since 2013 he is an Associate at the Harley Street Oral Reconstruction Centre, in London.
With a focus on the fellow human, patient or student, and his love in science his active presence and recognition in the international dental community is remarkable.
